A web application that makes planning orchard spray applications and keeping a record of them easy. I thought up this project as a way to improve a process I used to work with and reduce the amount of necessary paperwork.

I created this project as I wanted a platform to check/share my progress solving problems on Codewars. The backend logs into my Codewars account and scrapes new data automatically when I complete a new solution (triggered by the Codewars webhooks).

Professional Experience

Horticulturist (Various roles), UK/Australia: 2016 – Oct 2021

• Lead diverse teams of up to 15 staff split between different locations during peak seasons.
• Ran my own gardening business for a season in the UK and turned a respectable profit in the first year.
• Organised the clearing of a large recycling backlog by getting to understand the needs of the collector.

Hobbies/Interests

In my free time I’m into doing some home brewing and making fermented foods like kimchi and yoghurt. I enjoy growing some of my own food and have been getting to grips with growing some Japanese vegetables since someing to Japan. I also like putting together some fun raspberry pi projects and doing as much of my own car maintenance and repair as I can.
